Protecting AACE’s intellectual property is an important investment in preserving the value of the trusted technical resources our members rely on every day. As we continue implementing our new digital rights management (DRM) solution, we’ve appreciated the thoughtful feedback shared by members.

Your feedback has helped inform discussions with key AACE leadership groups, and adjustments are being discussed and made to improve usability, streamline workflows, and reduce unnecessary friction while maintaining strong protections for the Association’s intellectual property. 2026-2027 Board of Directors

Following the successful conclusion of the 70th AACE International Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, the 2026–2027 Board of Directors has officially been installed, ushering in a new year of leadership dedicated to advancing the Association and serving its global membership. Leading the Board as President is Mark C. Sanders, PE CCP CFCC PSP, Director of Projects with Alpha 3 Consulting, LLC, who begins the second year of his three-year leadership commitment after serving as President-Elect in 2025–2026.

A member of AACE since 2001, Sanders brings decades of project controls, engineering, and construction claims experience spanning projects around the world. A past Delaware Valley Section President and Treasurer, former Certification Board member, and four-year Board Secretary, he has long been recognized for his commitment to volunteer leadership and professional development. As President, Sanders looks forward to building on AACE's 70-year legacy while supporting members, strengthening the profession, and guiding the Association into its next chapter.

Joining President Mark Sanders on the 2026–2027 Board of Directors are Past President Michael J. Bennink, PE CCP PSP; President-Elect Cindy L. Hands, CCP; Secretary Barrett Richards, CCP CEP PSP; Treasurer Omoniyi "Niyi" Ladipo, CCP EVP; Directors Dr. Stephen P. Warhoe, PE CCP CFCC FAACE Hon. Life (Technical), William "Bill" Canterbury, CEP PSP PRMP (Education), Douglas W. Leo (Certification), CCP CEP FAACE Hon. Life, and Directors-at-Large David Chigne, CCP CEP PSP, João Dias, PSP and Daniel Bessette, PE PSP. Together with Executive Director/CEO Michael Kobylka, CAE, the Board represents a broad range of expertise and volunteer leadership dedicated to advancing AACE International's mission, supporting members worldwide, and guiding the Association's strategic priorities for the year ahead.

AACE is currently investigating a matter involving the Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification program that has resulted in the temporary suspension of CCP examination activities.

Protecting the integrity, fairness, and value of the CCP credential remains our highest priority. We are committed to keeping our candidates, certificants, members, and stakeholders informed as the investigation progresses.
