2026 Election Results

Cindy Hands Elected 2027-2028 President

AACE International, the preeminent professional society for cost engineering and project controls, has announced the results of its 2026 annual Board of Directors election. Voting was conducted electronically from March 6 through March 31, 2026. Cindy Hands, Niyi Ladipo, and Dan Bessette were elected to their respective positions and will begin their terms on the Board of Directors in June.

This live, instructor-led online seminar delivers a comprehensive foundation in project controls best practices — from the owner's point of view. Taught by Stephen L. Cabano and co-instructor Erik M. Anhorn of Pathfinder, LLC, the three-day virtual seminar (12:00–4:00 PM Eastern each day) covers the full project controls landscape: planning and scheduling, cost estimating, risk analysis, change management, progress and productivity measurement, and more. Participants earn 1.2 CEUs. Geared toward owner project managers, project controls specialists, and project engineers, this is a practical, interactive experience built around real-world application.

Advanced Project Controls from the Owner's Perspective

Ready to go deeper? This advanced follow-up to Project Controls from the Owner's Perspective tackles the more complex challenges owner teams face on capital projects. Instructors Paul G. Williams and Matthew D. Baker of Pathfinder, LLC lead participants through cost and schedule risk analysis, engineering and construction productivity evaluation, advanced recovery techniques, contractor oversight, and standard project control tools — with hands-on workshop exercises throughout. The seminar runs virtually over three consecutive days (12:00–4:00 PM Eastern) and earns 1.2 CEUs. Recommended for owner project managers, project controls specialists, and project engineers with at least five years of experience.
