This recommended practice (RP) of AACE International defines the use of the discipline of decision analysis (DA) to structure, analyze, and generate stakeholder decision buy-in and commitment to important organizational decisions, whether made by a team, group or individual. It illustrates how modern decision analysis methods can be applied broadly to making decisions on projects, programs, and at the enterprise level in the presence of uncertainty.

Registration is free, but required. Attendees will earn 0.1 free CEUs.

The Symposium will include collaborative discussion sessions between members that make up capital and municipal program delivery teams such as in transportation, building, and public/private partnerships. There will also be presentations from individuals and teams within various industry sectors and disciplines.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other professionals and share their experience to enhance the skills and knowledge essential for successful program and project delivery. The sessions will focus on program and project planning, execution via multiple delivery methods, project controls and performance evaluation, decision risk management, quality and optimization of delivery, and claims avoidance and dispute resolution.
