Contingency Estimating - General Principles. The webinar will be held on 23
September at 11:00 AM (Eastern US).

screening step. It expands on TCM Framework section 7.6.2.3 Risk Treatment and
leads into 7.6.2.4 Risk Control.

FAACE Hon. Life and will be hosted by Sandra Mejia Villegas.

The AI-Powered Project Controls Loop: Accelerating Project Delivery and
Driving Certainty
|
Join AACE and Alan Mosca, Co-Founder and CTO of nPlan on Sep 24 02:00
PM as we explore the evolution of the project controls loop and the
transformative role of AI. This session will demystify how AI can enhance the
traditional project management cycle, enabling faster, more accurate analysis,
and continuous project oversight. We'll show how an AI trained on large volumes
of past project data can turn the project controls loop from a monthly, manual
process into a continuous, data-driven engine for project success. We’ll also
share case studies of productive use of Predictive and Generative AI by teams
working on large-scale energy, utilities and transportation projects including
LNG Canada, Chevron, and Transpennine Route Upgrade - and talk about the
emergence of a new phenomenon: ‘AI-first’ project controls and delivery
teams.
Registration is free, but required.

Ethics, Projects, & the Practice of Cost Engineering -
Webinar
|
A free webinar for members only will be held on October 20 from 1PM-2PM
Eastern (US) featuring Akin Oni, a senior global project executive and AACE

not as a compliance checkbox but as a strategic enabler of trust, transparency,
and long-term value.
Real-world case studies drawn from Africa, Asia, South America, and
North America will unpack the often-unspoken ethical dilemmas that define our
projects and careers. Participants will gain practical tools, decision
frameworks, and a renewed sense of professional identity rooted in
