About this Draft Recommended Practice:

RP 41R-08, formerly Range Estimating, has been rescoped. It is now titled "Understanding Estimate Ranging". The revised RP defines estimate ranging as a general class of QRA practices with multiple variants (including Range Estimating). The RP purpose is to describe the general method, typical variations and typical use cases. The RP also highlights estimate ranging's significant use limitations in regards to meeting general QRA principles (i.e., RP 40R-08).

This draft RP is open for review and comment until December 4, 2021 on the AACE Communities, at the following link.

Managing Performance in the Schedule

A common challenge within the discipline of Project Management is that of establishing performance measurement criteria and supporting justification. The challenge for medium to large scale projects is to define sufficient detail for project control so as not to overburden the management of the project while still maintaining traceability to work accomplishment. The challenge exists across industries and often results in a disconnected solution requiring manual and time consuming effort to maintain, status, and in some cases comply with industry compliance criteria. How are you establishing and maintaining your performance measurement criteria and is there a better way?

Presenters: Daren Fontenot, Sr. PPM Solution Architect, Deltek

Dan Demangos, Sr. PPM Solution Architect , Deltek
