The AACE International Recommended Practices (RPs) are a series of documents that contain valuable reference information that has been subject to a rigorous review process and recommended for use by the Technical Board. RPs are intended to be the main technical foundation of AACE educational, and certification products and services. About RP 100R-19:

This RP is intended to provide guidelines concerning the change management process on a construction capital project that most practitioners would consider good practice for use where applicable. This process applies across various contracting strategies and delivery methods. Although this RP is written in the context of a contract between an owner and a contractor, it is applicable to any parties contracted to perform a project.
